ABOUT THE PRINTS

Fine Art Giclée Prints: The Process

Every print in my collections begins with the original painting, which I photograph under controlled conditions to capture the full tonal range, detail, and colour depth of the work. Once edited, it is then printed in a dedicated print room separate from my studio. Being in control of the entire process, from the first brushstroke to the finished print, is something I am passionate about. It means I can ensure that every print is a faithful, considered translation of my original work.

Photographs

I'm still exploring the perfect papers for my photography, but the Innova Soft Textured White 300gsm paper is producing lovely results.

Paper & Ink

I print using light-fast pigmented inks on Innova Soft Textured Natural White. This fine art paper has a gentle surface that holds ink beautifully and complements the atmospheric quality of my paintings.

The finished print is titled, signed, and numbered by me below the image in Limited Editions.

These are archival museum-quality prints, made to last.

Packaging

The paper I use is 300gsm - heavyweight and stiff, so I send the prints flat with a backing board and protective cover inside a sturdy folding flat box with extra packing.

If you have any questions about the prints, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
